In 1993, Jordana Shakoor founded JYS Consultants-PosiPower Concepts, Inc. The company was incorporated in 2008.  She has a B.A. from The Ohio State University, and a Master in Education/M.Ed - Curriculum and Instruction from Otterbein University. 

Shakoor has trained directors and staff throughout Ohio, Michigan, Florida, Kentucky, Illinois, Tennesee, West Virginia, Indiana, Virginia, Iowa, Mississippi, North and South Carolina, and in other public agencies throughout the United States. Additionally, Jordana developed and presented the Be a PosiTeacher Workshop series for professional development training in several Ohio school districts.    

She travels extensively throughout the United States presenting "Our Customers Deserve the BEST" our most requested PosiPower Workshop.

Jordana Shakoor is the critically acclaimed author of  Civil Rights Childhood.  Her book is selected by universities, colleges, and high schools in the United States and abroad. Jordana is featured in several publications, on television and on radio programs.  Civil Rights Childhood  was selected as “1-of-40 Best of The Best” by the American Library Association and the Association of University Presses.

 Attorney Ali Andrew Shakoor, J.D    Senior Consultant and Trainer - Tampa, Florida and the Southern Region of the United States.  Ali Shakoor is a successful post-conviction attorney and is 1st Chair at Capital Collateral Regional Counsel, Middle Region in Tampa, Florida.  He argues cases before the Florida Supreme Court.  He has taught law classes at a university in Florida. He is a "Big Brother" volunteer and he mentors Tampa teens. Ali received his Juris Doctorate, cum laude from Capital University Law School, in Columbus, Ohio.  He earned his Bachelor of Arts from The Ohio State University with a major in political science and a minor in women's studies. Keyomah K. Shakoor, J.D.  Director of Academic Training and Development for JYS Consultants-PosiPower Concepts, Inc. Keyomah Shakoor received her Juris Doctorate from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law.  She received her Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, from The Ohio State University.  Her major was economics. Keyomah has managed career development, academic, co-curricular, and professional development training programs in the private and public sectors.  In addition to JYS Consultants -PosiPower Concepts, Inc., Keyomah also works in human resources and was a recruiter for a private law firm.  She  has  extensive experience with colleges, high schools and school age children.
